Fond du lac | I think you need to just build your own database. We have 10 years of data from SGS. Even some data from corn that was held over for a year. That corn went from a 95 or 93 to 36. It was an unbelievable the drop. Make your own standard. In our area, east central Wisconsin on heavy clay ground you can see the hybrid stand difference based on the test score if the conditions happens. A lot of times if you get a test done early enough you will know why they are pulling the seed back. Dekalb corn usually has the most variability in score. Cropland and Pioneer usually have very consistent good test. That’s doesn’t always mean they beat a poorer test in yield even with a stand reduction. | |
