Subject: When to apply Prowl on Sweet Corn?

South Central Illinois

Seems like the corn needs to be emerged.
How soon after emergence is ok?
Water hemp is a real issue in this patch.
Maybe 20% is 1” or taller.
I think that quite a few of the seedlings will emerge this weekend.
A couple of more days with minimal GDU’s and then it is going to warm up and rain.
Am I ok to apply Prowl and get it rained in as the corn seedlings emerge?
I probably should wait until next week.

Looks like it is simpler if the sweet corn is in a conventional tillage program.
For some unknown reason, Prowl should not be applied to Notill Sweet Corn.
