northcentral iowa | I don’t know what result you consider “failing” a test. I used to manage the saturated cold testing for a major seed company. It is a very stringent cold germination test but takes some baseline testing to interpret the results and make decisions regarding what result is “good enough” to be planted. Some hybrids can perform better than others in the test but may actually be more likely to fail in the field. Thus a single result can be difficult to interpret correctly. Good luck. | |
