Don’t confuse boom pressure and nozzle outlet pressure they are not the same, the nozzle is an orfice which reduces pressure. Increasing boom pressure doesn’t really help “blow” more into the lower canopy like many think. I agree with your premise though about seeing some trials. I don’t know how low of volume a ground rig can go but I know the application methods are different.
