The critical point of a freeze at a later growth stage, is going to be pollen viability. If the anthers' pollen sacs freeze, the pollen could become sterile. After pollination, need to check to see if the berries are developing normally or not. The head can still remain green but have no grain developing if the pollen was sterile.
