I had wheat 4 or 5 years ago that was white at this stage with a frost, heads and stem were icy when I cut them open. I figured it was toast. Made almost ninety that year. I don’t record temps or anything I just remember the ice in the boot area. Going to be about the same temps here tonight as then. About the same stage. I’m not too worried.
