Alton, Ia | Under the road and under the road ditch are two different things. We have tile under the ditch, and tile crossing under the road, but it only goes under the road as close to perpendicular as possible, and is a solid pipe or tile to lessen the chances of issues. The only advantage or reason to keep it under the road would be to maintain grade thru a low spot in the ditch, but if so, the ditch has to drain out somehow.
And putting a Y under a road? ??
