'Here' it depends on field conditions, which largely depends on your crop rotation.
In some instances they don't do any good. In others, they are a game changer. Too difficult to answer without knowing your actual conditions, except to say 'here' almost everyone runs them because it is no big deal to lift them up in conditions where you don't need them, yet they are there if you do.
If you want to no-till into corn stubble, here they are well worth it.
Following alfalfa or wheat where the straw was baled, they don't do much.
