I've been through Northern Indiana was surprised to see so many pivots and sandy ground but the king is the Sandhills of Nebraska which covers a huge part of the state with rolling grass sand dunes, endless cattle and pivots where the hills aren't as steep. Very scenic especially when it rains enough and hills are green. Just stay north of I80.
