Subject: RE: Fence line Trees

Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80

Already had a hired CAT 320 excavator (with hydraulic thumb), on the farm, for clearing stumps, in 26 acre pasture.

Had operator, go along North and East side of my fenceline, and grab neighbor's overhanging tree branches, and tear them off, and created a row of debris, in my pasture area, that I cleaned up and created burn pile, with tractor and loader. Only took a little over 2 hours for experienced excavator operator to tear off branches= well worth it to me = I paid

Took over a day to clean up and create burn pile, with my loader tractor. Another day and half to burn, with leaf blowers keeping the fire "Hot".

Not really fair to me, but I wanted it DONE.
