Southwest Michigan
Why do you think the aerially seeded rye had a poor stand? We had a drone plant a couple hundred acres of cereal rye @50 lbs to the acre on September 17-19 last fall. Our stands are poor, great on the hill tops and any areas of poor corn 150 bu or less. Where the corn was 200 or more absolutely nothing. We had a late harvest this year as corn was very high moisture and slow to dry down. Will you try to aerial seed again? Your drilled pictures look like a much better stand. Thank you, for taking the time to post, I appreciate your posts, always experimenting on things and informative.
