Did hudson valve on pvc with 2 90deg elbows to "hook" over lid hole and hang down. The weight of the pipe and hose are enough nothing needs to be attached to tank. Simply lift up to unhook from lid opening and hang on wall where I park the truck. Valves last longer not being beaten around with road splash
