Subject: RE: Ortho/ poly brend vs ortho

Coldwater, Michigan
Assuming they are of equal quality from a manufacturing standpoint, I would take the 20% Poly Product. With that poly content you could expect the nurse tank or the storage container to still be able to hold the micros (if wanted). The 6-24-6 I used to sell had a micro package as part of the product at the manufacturer and with the poly content they stayed in solution.

A competitor sold 8-19-3 100% Ortho and got tired of my 6-24-6 out-yielding his product even when they were in his own plots. Next year when he brought in his 8-19-3 to store for the winter, he had his micros included and put it into his bulk PlasticTank . Sometime before spring I was on his farm around that tank and it was obvious the micros had settled. He used Copper as one of the micros and that pretty blue was in the bottom few inches of the tank.
