NCKS
1. Yield 2. Agronomics 3. Price 4. Service.

To my knowledge, there are only 4 gmo soybean breeders. Merchman/Stine, Syngenta, Bayer and Corteva. Maybe Agrigold/LG but if they do its not much. Everyone else is buying from one of those 4. Stine licenses out their whole lineup to other companies. The other 3 keep their broad acre high volume beans for themselves and license the rest. With soybeans, the regional companies can actually have an advantage over the bigs because they can pick up beans that only work in their area where the 3 bigs cant afford to keep low volume products in their lineup.

Thats my long way of saying pick a company or two you like working with and stick with it. More often than not if their advancement agronomists are worth their salt, their lineup is going to be just as good as anyone elses. We work with 3 companies. One major that breeds their own, one major that licenses theirs and one small regional brand. I wouldn't have a problem going to 100% of any of the three companies. Corn is a different story.
