PROSPECT, TENNESSEE | Yea, took the wind outa my sail too! Planted some beans last week, like 3/31-4/1, got most of the corn ground sprayed, with hopes of following with the planter within a day of two, but that hasn't worked out! We normally plant then spray, but needed to decontaminate the sprayer to spray fungicide on triticale. Now the cover crop is at that tough stage between living and dead! I could of planted it before this rain event, but just didnt want to gamble on the high stakes table. By the time it dries up the cover should be crispy! Im letting the rest keep growing, it will help dry the soil up. | |
