Good soil tilth can keep a field from blowing. Good tilth is not only achieved with soil health but also how you work the soil. If soil is worked too dry (especially the first pass) it will shatter and blow. Also any implement that shatters the soil into small particles will cause blowing.
Why do some fields blow?
