Yesterday there was a piece of ground blowing that hasn't been touched with any tillage for 10+ years.

Has been no tilled, cover cropped and covered with cattle manure every year.    It was still blowing.     Its that kind of ground and it was that dang windy.

Sometimes there just isn't much more you can do that is economically viable.



Tillage. It's the tilled fields that blow here (especially one prominent seed co.) have never seen what you are describing. A lot of shucks blowing off VT fields filling ditches.
