It may be worth while to rig it up on your mower so you do not have to try and walk the same speed.
Just mount the nozzle so it stays in the same place with an even spray.
With a pump sprayer it will be hard to keep pressure the same but at least you can get speed and width the same. Assuming you can see your mower tracks.
