Here, we will dry out after seeding leaving the seed in dry dirt and unsupported. We have too get Winter Wheat in moisture good almost without exception. Dryland here, 2.5 would be about the limit, but shallower would be nice for faster emergence. Spring grains, we can go shallower because we can usually count on a rain.
