Subject: RE: pre plant incorporated

Mid-Michigan
We put all of our chemicals on that way in the old days of only pre emergence spray. Incorporating worked way better than spraying on top and praying for a rain. Personally, I don't miss that set up at all. Mounting the tanks, routing the hoses and pump, calibrating everything, filling saddle tanks etc. We also used that same set up band spraying behind the planter. Don't miss that cluster either. Big sprayers and gmo's got rid of all that stuff for me. And most importantly, I'm not sitting on a 4020 at 2 mph hour for weeks on end cultivating. I don't think you have to worry too much about working too deep pulling that fc with that tractor. I've got to give you credit for putting all that stuff on only to go around your headlands. I'm way to lazy and busy to put all that stuff on. I've got some old saddle tank laying somewhere if you want to rig up another tractor. Good luck. It works.
