If you fertilize the following year based on historic removal or if you fertilize in anticipation of those extra bu than add that in. If the extra bu don't impact your fert program than don't factor it.
I figure combine and cart costs based on the acre or hour more than the bu, but I guess that depends how you turn the pencil.
Personally a 5 bu gain (or 2.5% on 200bu) isn't worth it to me for $4 corn. That small of a difference might also be hard to prove that a statistical difference came from the product imo.
A question going a different direct is do planter attachments/upgrades or hybrid traits also get this kind of scrutiny?
