NW Wisconsin | Well its kinda like manure applications.... Preached for years that the world will end if you dont incorporate because the P will end up in lakes rivers etc... Which it does with surface applied. But since tillage is the summoning of the anti christ they turn a blind eye to it.
SO yes it should be placed in the ground somewhere. I use turkey manure which gets chisel plow incorporated along with the rest of my N needs with ESN and AMS. The guy that plants for me has in furrow. I just use 3 gpa of 10-34-0 with the seed. 2x2 is the best system as you can apply season needs with it unlike in furrow. My favorite system is a dry planter as you can get season needs for both P and K and those systems have a lot of flexability on where you put it. Same would be with a strip till applicator. | |
