| Harrows and soybean stubble don’t mix. The straw will not break up like wheat and you’ll have piles everywhere. Only harrows that work for bean stubble are the coulter harrows. I run a gates coulter harrow. I would look at one of these or similar for your climates. These will cut at 12 inches with coulters and harrow behind. Some have rolling baskets which help in the springs. Seems like alot of processes for one unit but I’ve seen these work fairly well in high management crop residual situations in the north. | |
