If you build a pond on CRP ground during a CRP contract, the acreage will not be reduced for the rest of that contract. When you go to re-enroll, then they will draw out everything that can no longer be farmed (water, dam, spillway, etc). No need for written documentation - its' right in the CRP procedures. Call and ask them if you don't believe me.
A permit to put fish in a pond? I'm glad I live in MO... I'm sure there are some permits involved to get state cost share, but here if you want to build a pond and you're not damming up a blue line stream, you don't need anybody's permission. | |
