I think southern IL planting this early will be fine. Here in central WI, there is some cold forecasted yet, after being almost 70 the past couple days.
We had a farmer put some corn in probably 2 weeks ago just 15 minutes north of the Dells. I’m pretty sure it was old seed and they did it just to have the “story” to tell. They probably drove their 24 row planter 8+ miles to get to a field that was on the major highway to get more eyes on it. |
