| Absolutely, you are correct. Even bigger companies like Wyffels and Becks have some of their own germplasm and you’re correct, yields do not get sacrificed. The problem we are facing and what us independent breeders need to do is talk more about this and make this known to the farmer. If we don’t support each other there will never be options and that is a terrifying prospect for the future of farming.
