It is hard to kill. I remember years ago my dad sprayed a patch with what I think was Roundup and 24D in a UTV sprayer and it died in the wheel tracks. It seemed that the wheels laying it over provided for good enough coverage to kill it. He later ran over it with a lawn roller before spraying it and that worked. I plan to try it on a patch this spring.
