I used to work at a research farm that had a 750 with belts and we drilled some very tiny seeded covers with it no problem. We did have hydraulic drive on it though so we could get the belt speed down really slow. It wasn't really ideal, but it worked just fine, just need to make sure the brushes are good so seed doesn't just fall out.
