NWMO | You’re going to want something like acetochlor in your pre. It’s will have some activity on grass and help suppress it/hold it back from emerging.
So if it’s me, pre would be
24 oz R-Up
3 oz Callisto
32 oz Atrazine
32oz Acetochlor
4 oz perm up
MSO (or I prefer to run 5 gal/ac thiosulfate with it and get some S out there also)
Post, in my experience, the best product out there for grass is Capreno. It’s a little pricey, but it has better activity than anything else. It will not kill 4” tall grass, but it will stunt it badly and bleach it white. It will kill newly emerged grass.
Post:
3 oz capreno
32 oz atrazine
Insecticide *if needed*
MSO
If the broadleaf weed pressure is bad I will spike in 4-8 oz/ac Dicamba and the capreno should safen it
AMS
This isn’t a *cheap* program, but in my experience it never pays to cheap out on conventional corn herbicides. We grow about 2000 acres a year of non gmo corn and fight Johnson grass in about half of it, this is what we’ve seen to work
