The pto shaft expands, contracts. *as it’s meant to* but under heavy load it might catch. Either bend the pto shaft, damage bearings or worse $$$ damage to tractor pto. Just pause before lifting, lowering under heavy load. *any load*




Unless its froze up with ice that shouldn't cause an issue anymore than it does with any other pto shaft that moves while under load.


Keep in mind that unless a pto shaft is running perfectly straight and perfectly level, it is expanding/contracting in length during every rotation.  That's why the ends have to be in "time".
