Subject: RE: 3pt snowblowers

Boone, Iowa

I had an IH 80 that worked good on an IH 3688.  When I put it on my MX135, the PTO angle was steep and threw the PTO shaft on the ground.  I ended up buying a new Red Devil late that winter, because of a big snowstorm that came thru.  I have a 2wd 7120 that I was going to put on the snowblower this morning, but it was easier to put it on the MX135 that has MFD.  It is too much snowblower for that tractor, when cutting the 1st pass thru these drifts.  Once I get a cut made, I can take a smaller bite on the next pass and run the rpm’s where they need to be at a decent speed.
