SW Oklahoma | I had all 4 sliding doors blown off of my barn this fall. The guy i hired to install a 18x24’6” and a 18x24 overhead doors put on liftmaster openers. The end wall opener hooks directly to the spool shaft, simple. The other in the sidewall, because of clearance issues, he used a 2 track chain drive. The motor is up high and turns that spool shaft by a short chain and sprocket set up. He said in all his experience, this was the way to go. I know the openers are liftmaster so i assume it’s all liftmaster hardware | |
