I agree = buy the CORRECT cold roll steel rods, before you perform the tightening procedure.
My larger door, used a big diameter rod hole (5/8" verses 1/2", IIRC) = I drove to town and bought Correct rods, when bigger door when in. (just this Fall/Sept.)
