You can wind the springs,they can kill you so be aware.Wind them to the point of easy up and slight pull down.get it correct and the chain crank is fine.I know electrical is slick,just put it in your mind how good it is for your body to do the chain..what I tell my weak arms on the one chain drive we have left,,hehhe
