How many rounds can you work a horse ? I’ve heard mules can work longer ?
Dad always said you could overwork a horse enough to hurt it, but not a mule, they would quit when it was time. He said you could have half a round left to cultivate, but if it was quitting time they were heading home, no matter what you did. One day he forgot his watch and they took him home a half hour early. LOL |
