NW Iowa | So on a 6’ sickle mower you can get about 5 hrs out of a team that is in good shape. This would be with about a 5 minute rest every half hour. With a manure spreader, you can get a full day with a good rest at noon. Plowing or other harder work you better plan on switching out at noon. When putting 4 on the square baler and pulling a rack behind, you can get a full afternoon. Once your team is in good condition you can get a lot done with only giving them a minute or two break every round. | |
