| My son had the clutch go out on a 10 c transmission. The bill came to over $15,000. They did knock the bill down some.
When they put the transmission back in, they routed a cooler line wrong. A few weeks later, it pumped all the oil out. It was raining so the driver didn't notice the oil blowing up on the truck.
The shop claimed the transmission failed due to lack of fluid, so the dealer didn't stand it.
After that deal $20,000 to do an automatic doesn't look any worse than the manual.
