I have not drove these auto shift's so I may be missing something but the way I see it is with these newer diesel engines they make so much toque over such a wide range not much shifting needs to be done. A straight 10 so is about all that's needed. It's not like the old days of working the gearshift to keep the rooms up. To me keep it simple.
