Aberdeen MS | of her senior year.
2 university and 2 tech school representatives were there giving reasons why their school might be the best to further the senior's education.
Both university reps had main talking points of how good their remedial English and Math classes were for incoming freshmen!!
When the floor was opened to questions, I asked when was the local High School going to step up to the plate to prepare our kids for college? I stated that it reflects badly on current administration that remedial classes were a high point of the college!
The room was deathly quiet, no one responded until one HS admin asked if anyone else had a question.
And yes we are "dumbed" down today. I used spell check 4 times writing this reply out.... LOL. | |
