Thanks for the hope on mileage. No, don't miss the cold at all. So long as the truck lasts about as long as I do, I'll be happy. This the first and, with luck, the last new vehicle I'll ever buy. (I hate paying sales tax.)
Yes, the dash now has a hinged cupholder/ashtray affair that goes to the floor. I may end up mounting it mostly in front of the 4 wd knob and figure I'll need to reach under or around to get to the knob. Will see. There is a dash indicator light showing the drive status.
The next problem is where the heck to mount the CB.... I don't use it a lot, but it's great for listening for trouble on the road.
