That reminds me of our 1977 1086 we bought with 1200 hours on it. The dealer was so confident he gave us a full year unlimited part and labour. It would be down to add every morning. The mechanic said just run it the next day at add and see what happens some them had the dip stick stamped wrong still stay at add today.
