Subject: RE: Heavy duty oil filter strap wrench pic

Southeastern Tipton County, Indiana

tex - 1/8/2021 20:17 Here is a pic of heavy duty strap wrenches I got from northern tool today. The one on top is a proto tool wrench with heavy 2 inch strap, 1/2 inch heavy steel rod with 1/2 and 3/8 inch square ratchet or extension fitting for tight places. The bottom Kutcher wrench also has a 2 inch strap and 18 inch handle. I also have a chain filter wrenchfrom northern tool that works well with adjustable bar length. Has anybody used the proto wrench for tight places.? These wrenches should be hard to break like the cheap wrenches at automotive stores.

I have used a Snap On version of the Proto wrench for 35-40 years. Works very well where space around the filter is limited. I like it.
