I have used them to “spill” some oats and grass seed to patch in some winterkilled or thin spots in new seeded hayfield. It worked very well for that, although being 30 inch centers required several trips across each area.
With all the talk of cover crops I am surprised they are not in demand as a cheap method of getting seed in the ground.
Is this a JD fluted bean meter?
