A certified tech makes that directly out of college here, without even putting in a lot of overtime. Plus tuition reimbursement. Plus efficiency bonus. Plus benefits. The best techs make $30-35 per hour base pay, tack on $5-10 of efficiency bonuses, and put in a lot of overtime. $80-120k is pretty doable if you’re decent and want hours. Add a 20-25% for cost of benefits, etc.
