Commercial and essential traffic move across the US/Canadian border with little or no difficulty. But you can't visit as a tourist to see the mountains or go skiing or go visit your dear old Canadian cousin. Or come to the USA and buy gasoline and other stuff that is less expensive here. Local merchants in this border area are taking a real bath without their normal Canadian customers.
