I know I'm just blowing steam. My 2500 ripper has fit my MX 285 and 335 Magnum in the past but won't fit a 340 Magnum. The distance between the center of the top link pin and the lift pins is much shorter on the 340 quick hitch. I'm guessing the 335 has a category 3 hitch and the 340 is a cat 4. Really no reason for them to be different dimensions.
As has been said there should be an extra hook to bolt on that lowers the center hook. It’s a cat 4 hitch.
