The 4840 transmission pump is the highest capacity already for an 8 speed Power-Shift tractor, and there is NO such thing as a factory production HFWD 4840, never made one. Now a 4 cu. in. pump is a good upgrade if replacement is necessary for the O P. Hope this helps.
