Back in the '50s my uncle farmed 330 ac using a IH SM, 9' Kewanee disc & a IH H & 4 row IH planter. We never started planting corn until May 15th & usually was planting beans by Memorial day. On top of that he feed between 250 - 300 head of feeder cattle& had a few hogs. He had one full time man & hired another guy part time.
How many acres can you handle with a 12 ft disk?
