Both of mine cracked a couple years ago but the crack reached the edge of the fill hole just as I finished up in 2019. I got some thin steel plate and pop riveted it on the inside of the tank, then got a fiberglass repair kit at Napa to cover the cracks and seal it on the outside. It still leaks a little air but seemed to look the same after running 1400 acres in 2020
