Swaledale, IA | Had one with SI belts and could not get rid of them fast enough. If you are using small very evenly sized seed from year to year they could work OK. If you get any seed that is to large it starts tearing up belts and not working properly. The only good part was the the sprocket system on the end to change speeds. I believe I have a set of SI meters sitting in the shop for a 20'. Also got a electric drive seed meter system that goes in the cab and will adjust the opening on the cups. It allows for on the go adjustment instead of getting out and moving lever to adjust cup opening. | |
